We tried something new yesterday…trail biking! Something I have always wanted to try but been too (insert silly excuse here) to try. But wow! It was exhilarating and empowering to do it! When was the last time you tried something new? It can have many benefits!
1. Builds courage. After summoning courage to do a new thing, it becomes easier to summon courage to do more!
2. Maybe you will enjoy it! Trying something new opens up the possibility that you might find a new hobby you might enjoy.
3. A cure for boredom. Routine can be helpful, but it’s in the challenges we rise up to meet, that we can have some of our most rewarding successes.
4. Forces growth. We don’t grow from doing the same thing over and over. New experiences help us grow and change our mindset to be open to new things!
So what is something new you are going to try today? Have you thought about changing your mindset for how your primary care should be? Maybe it’s time to try the new, improved version!
